Chairman’s Message
Dear Students,
"THERE ARE TWO EDUCATIONS, ONE THAT TEACHES HOW TO MAKE A LIVING AND THE OTHER HOW TO LIVE."
These words by Anthony de Mello perfectly describe our aim at Shivaji institute of Technology & Management. We do not simply teach you how to make a living instead; we prepare you how to live. In other words, we mould you as job providers and not as just job seekers. Our extra curriculum programs combined with academic syllabus makes sure that what we profess is achieved during your stay with us. There is a maxim which clearly depicts our ardent desire about the future of students admitted in our college. It reads like this:
"Give a man a fish; you feed him for a day. Teach a man how to fish; you feed him for a lifetime."
As it is cited above, we prefer not to toil for the momentary pleasure rather we strive hard for permanent treasure. We do not feed the students with mere facts and knowledge instead; we motivate our students to be the source of knowledge themselves. It has been possible by team of our staff who mould themselves first, before they mould the students. They demonstrate what they teach and they live what they profess. In other words, our staffs are living examples and best role models who inspire the students.
We achieve what we boldly say by partnering with our students. Yes, students are our partners in our mission to make them entrepreneurs. Our main job is not to get them jobs instead; facilitate them to provide jobs.
